We just love Fudge so much. He has adapted to our family so well and is very smart. Lucas my grandson has already taught him to sit.  Also using paper potty training good.

Took him to the vet yesterday to get his shots and everything was fine. He weights 2 lbs 1 oz.

Thank you so much.  Will keep in touch.

Hi Nancy,

We named her Ruby, and she learned that name right away.  Lola is Havanese so we gave her a showgirl name (you know…Copa Cabana) and I thought another showgirl name would be good.  First we were going with Roxy, then somehow we settled on Ruby…this was before we even got home :-)

Sadie was a good traveler yesterday.  She did, however, get car sick a couple of times.  We took her to the vet today and she received a good check up and weighed in at a hefty 1.2 pounds!  She will go back in three weeks for her next check up and shots.  We did purchase a tube of nutri-cal.  Sadie has been very playful and is so sweet!

Just wanted to give you an update. Beau is doing wonderfully. He has settled into a routine with my mom - she just adores him...I get calls and text messages from her every day about something they are doing.

This week he has been out in the yard in the mornings gardening...she said he sticks close to her and hangs out in the shade under the plants. Then he comes in for a nap - he takes his toys into his bed and curls up with them.

He is already going to the bathroom outside during the day - he can't quite make it through the night, yet, of course, but he uses the doggie pad when he needs to go. All this in just a matter of days! He's so smart and learning quickly.

Beau is bringing so much joy to my mom's life - and to mine because of it. Just thought you would enjoy hearing how the first week went. I will get some pictures and send to you as soon as I can.

Thank you, again!!

I am sorry that I have not let you know about the puppy.  Donna is actually my sister-in-law. My mother, who came with me to buy the puppy, gave her to my brother and sister-in-law for a Christmas present. They named the puppy Ayla and she is now living in Maryland.  My mom talked to them recently and Ayla is doing well.  Ayla adjusted very well when we brought her back to my mom's house.  She was very playful and a good eater.  Ayla got a good check up at the vet.  She did, however, have worms and ear mites which she is being treated for. She weighs around three pounds now.

Hi Nancy!

Just wanted to let you know how awesome our new puppy is doing! We named her Lucia, Luci for short. She is so sweet- the whole family adores her! You were right, she did get sick in the car, however, she has been fine ever since. My decision to go with the older pup was confirmed by her sleeping through the night the past 2 evenings! She only whined at first a little bit when I put her in the crate next to our bed. :) My neighbor, who is a vet, came over yesterday and said she looked very healthy. We have an official appointment with the vet we usually go to this afternoon.

Took Lucia to her vet appointment this afternoon and all is well! She is a happy, healthy little pup.

I may have someone that might be interested in her sister. They were looking at another dog from someone that the wife knew. They thought it was a definite thing but are not quite sure now. I will keep you posted. :)

Thank you again!

Hi Nancy,

We name her Piper, and she is wonderful! We LOVE her personality. She slept in her crate last night from 10 – 4. I thought that was great for her very first night. She is precious, and our kids could not be happier.  I am looking forward to taking her to the vet on Thursday.

I will look for you on FB soon. Thanks for everything!

Roxy is such a sweetie! She is 2.2 pounds...still so tiny! I don't think she will be a very big adult! She does great in her kennel and is working hard on being potty trained! She occasionally has an accident, but most of the time if we don't realize she has to potty, she will go to her room and use the pad in her kennel! She loves to play and will try to chew you up, we are working on only chewing on toys. Everyone who sees her falls in love! We are quite smitten! She is tiny, but she eats great! I think she will fatten up so e when we spay her!  She is very loved for sure!

Hi Nancy!   Wish I had pics to send you of Jack and Jill.   They are growing and I am eager to see how much they weigh on Sept 24 when they return to vet for shots, etc.

They sleep at night and when I am not home in their 4 x 4 pen next to my bed.  I wanted them to sleep w/ me but they are too small and we will keep it this way.  they get sleepy after dark and  actually come to me asking to go to bed.    I put them to bed w/ water and no food.  AND every nite they sleep quietly w/ no noise until 8 or 8:30. They have slept all night since they came to their hill.   We quickly go out and they poop and pee and get the tiny dog treats.  I have no idea about how much they pee in day time.  I will have to spray my rugs soon.  They do not pee on floor – only the scatter rugs.  Of course I take them out off and on during day.   I only feed them the Purina One puppy food you sugested.

Then we see what happens in the day.  I keep food down in day.   Jill is the leader.  Jack has to see her and follows her every where.  They FIGHT and FIGHT.  Hope they don’t hurt each other.  Jack is more cautious.  In the yard they are learning to come when I shake the treat bag but that is a work in progress.   Jill come best and Jack has to find her.  You must have rubbed their tummies!!  I can say, ‘tickle tummy’ and each roll on back waiting for their turn.  Of course Jack waits on Jill to go first.

Well, I send love and thanks for raising these SMART FUNNY babies.  They look at me for love and who could turn that down!   When I can slow someone here down to take pictures I will get them to you.

8/13/14- Anderson, SC

Hi Nancy!  we are enjoying Jack and Jill so much.  They are so much fun and full of love.  I do not know is Alison or Sloane sent you a few pictures.  I will check.  I do not take pictures so I will count of them to make sure you see them coming up the hill!    What energy these little things have.  After playing they just drop and sleep for hour.  They have a pet pen by my bed and sleep until about 8:30 AM.   Hope all is good your way.  I will be better about staying in touch

Hi Nancy! I'm so sorry about the late response, been pretty busy with work and family and of course the puppy. We named him Onyx and he is doing well. The vet gave him his second round of vaccinations and pronounced him healthy and parasite free. He is fun and just the cutest little guy! He has met no strangers so far and everyone just loves him. House-breaking has been a problem but I'm sure he will get the hang of it soon enough since he is a very smart dog. Anyway, thank you so much for checking up on us. He is an awesome addition to the family!

I thought that I would let you now how Rascal is doing.  I took him to the vet awhile back and he is fine.  He is now 3 lbs, very active and very smart.  I had fallen outside and broke my foot and he just laid down beside me until I could get up.  Since then he follows me all the time.  He thinks that he is a big dog.LOL  The only drawback  with my foot is that I can't potty train him properly.  I get my cast off 7/9/14.  He just said "hi".

He is a HIT! My mom LOVES him. It was truly love at first sight! She named him Rocky and she is so happy with him! I’m calling the vet today and I will let you know how the first appointment goes. He is adjusting to our home beautifully. Thanks a lot!

Nancy, I gotta tell you, this sweet baby boy Carlton is a DREAM!!! He is the sweetest thing ever!!! I put him in his crate last night and he whined for about 5 minutes, I spoke to him and he calmed down. Once I turned out all the lights, he went to sleep and I never heard another peep out of him! I just woke up and took him out and he pooped and pee peed outside. We are back inside snuggling under a blanket now!! Never in my life have I had a puppy as sweet as him!!! I just wanted to say thanks again!!! Hi Nancy!

Just wanted to update you on Carlton, he is still doing great!! We are so happy to have him and he genuinely seems so happy to be here! He misses the big girls when they are gone to school, so he's happy and giving them lovings as soon as they walk in!! He is doing great on potty training, no accidents in the house! I cannot believe how easy he is to house train, did you potty train him at all?? He's just too easy and is so eager to please!! We are so blessed to have him, thanks again!!!

I want to tell how much we love Murphy and the joy he has brought into our lives. He goes everywhere
with us, he loves his car seat and he is still trying to make friends with the cats.  He is the happiest
little fellow and it feels he has always been a part of our family.
Thanks again Nancy for bringing our little guy to us!

Good Morning...Josie did good on her way here, no issues.
She is making herself at home very quickly. Attached is some pix of her and Joseph
in a pen in the backyard so they can hang out without too much supervision...all in all everything is good!! She is eating good, did real good with a bath, and loves the outside!
Very playful, wants to play with everybody including the big dogs, all good.

Hello. I wanted to give you a update on Princeton. We had a great trip home to Charleston and he didnt have any car sickness. I took him to the vet today; I chose Banfield with petsmart.  His checkup went well but they did determine he has a ear infection. They gave him some ear drops.

She is sooooo precious!  I think my husband is jealous because she follows me and the kids around instead of him.  He told us the other night to go in another room so they could bond!!  LOL!  She is funny chasing my son around the house and the bark is too cute!!  I told her yesterday before we went to the vet to get a toy to take with her and I turned around and there she was standing with a pair of socks……not exactly what I had in mind!!  Thanks for ALL your help!!  Isla is adjusting so well.  So, so funny!!  Don’t laugh, but when we have to leave the house….we leave the television on the baby channel for her!!
